The exclusive R & D center is been established to design and develop technologically advanced world class machines for the better quality, reliability & productivity to cater the sophisticated Aerospace and Automobile applications where high level of accuracies and reliabilities are inevitable.
The Active R & D team of Jyoti has achieved outstanding success by developing TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) friendly machines, CNC Machines with Linear Technology of higher dynamics and productivity, in house developed software like “POTS” etc.
R & D activities here are conducted through a young team of 87 technocrat professionals facilitated by latest softwares, & assembly/testing and calibration equipments from world renowned manufacturers.
The R & D Center of Jyoti has been dedicated to an ancient design genius Leonardo Da Vinci who designed the First Lathe machine in early of 16th Century.
Leonardo Da Vinci was born in 1452 in a small town Vinci. Da Vinci was one of the greatest inventor – scientists of recorded history. His genius was unbounded by time and technology, and was driven by his insatiable curiosity, and his intuitive sense of the laws of nature. In his time, he was an internationally renowned inventor, scientist, engineer, architect, painter, sculptor, musician, mathematician, anatomist, astronomer, geologist, biologist, and philosopher.
In the late 15th century, Leonardo Da Vinci’s numerous skills have earned him the title of renaissance master. Da Vinci drew three simple machines together on a page. The first is clearly a lathe that uses the flywheel. The second is a sash saw driven by a flywheel. In the third, Da Vinci depicts a treadle attached to another flywheel, but this one uses a drive belt connected to a smaller pulley to step up the speed. This arrangement allows for much faster turning speed and a less frantic pace for the operator.
Today, there are records of only few Da Vinci paintings, and 20 notebooks. These works have been preserved over the hundreds of years since Leonardo’s time, and while his works are scattered in different areas of the globe, everyone can enjoy Da Vinci through the numerous books which details his life, a well known master in the history of art, Leonard Da Vinci is renowned by people all over the map. His most famous paintings, and the most popular Da Vinci posters around, are those of The Last Supper, The Mona Lisa and The Vitruvian Man: The Proportions of the Human Figure. These works, displayed in Milan and Paris respectively, are among the most influential works ever created.
